The Art of Protest - Featuring the painting of Blak Douglas

Three Week workshops

In this workshop series students are introduced to the idea of the art of protest, with specific reference to the work of Blak Douglas. Students will complete writing in various text types, responding to elements in the work of Blak Douglas and considering protest in their own writing.

  • Create texts that adapt language features and patterns encountered in literary texts, for example characterisation, rhyme, rhythm, mood, music, sound effects and dialogue (ACELT1791)
